Product images in Unleashed enhance your inventory management by providing visual references across multiple functions. Images added to products will:
Display on your View Products page for quick visual identification.
Populate automatically in Doc Designer templates for professional documentation.
Sync to B2B Stores and eCommerce Hub integrations (where supported).
Be available for label printing with dedicated default settings.
You can add images by uploading files directly to a product record or by attaching existing files from your File Library.
Requirements and specifications
Before adding images, note these requirements:
File size limit: 20MB per file.
Maximum attachments: 50 files per product record.
Supported formats: .png, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .bmp, .webp, .csv, .pdf, .doc, .xls, .xlsx, .docx, .msg, .dwg, .stp, .dxf, .ppt, .pptx.
Method 1: Upload Images Directly to Products
Use this method when you have new image files for your product, on your device, that haven't been uploaded to Unleashed yet.
Open the product record and select the Attachments tab.
Upload your file using either method:
Drag and drop the file into the grey upload tile.
Click "browse local files" to select from your device.
Configure the image's default settings using the Action Cog icon:
Make Default Image – the image is displayed on the View Products page and Doc Designer templates.
Make Default Label Image – sets the image as the default for label printing only.
Detach – removes the image from this product but keeps it in the File Library.
Click Save to apply your changes
Method 2: Attach Images from File Library
When files are already uploaded to your File Library, you can attach them to products using either approach below.
Option A: Search from Product Record
Open the product record and go to the Attachments tab.
Click "search uploaded files" in the grey upload tile.
In the Search Uploaded Files window, filter by Image type.
Use the Search Files field to find specific images by their file name.
Check the boxes next to images you want to attach.
Click Attach to complete the allocation.
Option B: Allocate from File Library
Navigate to Settings > File Library from the main menu.
Use the search field or drop-down menus to filter by file type (All, Image, or Document).
Select the checkboxes next to the files you want to attach.
Click Attach Files above the grid.
In the pop-up window, use Search Entities to find your product (you can select up to 50 products).
Click Attach to allocate the files.

It is not possible to upload images to product records using a CSV import. Images must be saved to product records as an attachment by either uploading from your device or Unleashed's File Library.
