When a Shopify order imports to Unleashed, any subsequent changes made to the order in Shopify will not automatically sync to the existing Sales Order in Unleashed. Similarly, changes made to the Sales Order in Unleashed will not sync back to Shopify. However, you can manually edit the Sales Order in Unleashed to align it with changes made in Shopify.
Limitations
Changes made to the Sales Order in Unleashed will not sync back to Shopify.
If a Shopify order was edited in Shopify before importing to Unleashed, the edited version will not import. You must create the Sales Order directly in Unleashed, bypassing the integration.
Once stock has been invoiced or dispatched, the order cannot be edited.
Enable Unleashed Manual Order Edits
The "Unleashed Manual Order Edits" setting unlocks the ability to modify Sales Orders that have been imported from your Shopify store. When enabled:
Any Sales Order imported from Shopify that is not in Complete status becomes editable.
You can manually adjust order details in Unleashed to match changes made in Shopify.
Configuration steps
From the main menu, navigate to eCommerce Hub > Shopify.
Select Configure in your store's tile.
In the Configuration tab, scroll down to find the "Unleashed Manual Order Edits" setting.
Toggle the setting ON (it will appear green when enabled).
Scroll to the bottom of the Configuration tab and click Save Configuration.
Use Cases
This feature is particularly useful when:
A customer contacts you to modify their order after it has been imported to Unleashed.
You need to adjust quantities, add products, or change shipping details.
You want to maintain accurate records in both systems without recreating orders.
By enabling this setting, you maintain flexibility in order management while working within the integration's limitations.
