The SBD Integration Hub's BigCommerce integration links your BigCommerce store directly to Unleashed. When a customer places an order in your store, that order is imported into Unleashed in near real time. Unleashed also pushes updated stock levels back to BigCommerce on a scheduled basis, keeping your storefront accurate.
⚠️ Important: The SBD Integration Hub's BigCommerce integration is in beta from July 2026 and is only available to a select group of customers. If you are in the beta programme and have feedback or encounter any issues, email the team at [email protected].
If you are not in the beta programme, the SBD Integration Hub will be available upon general release in the coming months.
Why use Access Evo's BigCommerce Integration?
Automated order import: Orders placed in BigCommerce arrive in Unleashed in near real time via webhook, with no manual data entry required.
Live stock sync: Unleashed pushes available stock levels to your BigCommerce storefront on a scheduled basis, so customers see accurate availability.
Product mapping: When first connected, the integration reads your BigCommerce catalogue and matches each product variant to an Unleashed product by SKU. If no matching product exists in Unleashed, one is created automatically.
Centralised fulfilment: All sales channel orders are managed from a single location in Unleashed, alongside your other sales orders.
Guest order support: Orders placed by guest shoppers are mapped to a designated Unleashed customer account, keeping your customer data clean.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the integration, make sure you have the following in place:
An Unleashed account with access to Access Evo > Products > Integration Hub.
An active BigCommerce store.
Your BigCommerce Store Hash, found in your BigCommerce store URL or API settings.
A BigCommerce Access Token and Client Secret. When creating your API token in BigCommerce, enable the following scopes:
Products (Modify)
Orders (Read-only)
Customers (Read-only).
At least one warehouse configured in Unleashed, with its Warehouse Code to hand.
A Guest Account customer record created manually in Unleashed before activation. This account is used for orders placed by guest shoppers in your store. If this customer does not exist when a guest order arrives, the order import fails, and an error is logged in the Activity tab.
Set up the BigCommerce Integration
Step 1: Install the integration
Click the Access button in the top left of the platform.
Select Products > Integration Hub.
Under 'Available integrations', find BigCommerce and click Install.
Enter a Store Name to identify this connection within Unleashed. This label is for your reference only.
📌Note: Only one BigCommerce store can be connected per Unleashed account. Attempting to connect a second store will return an error.
Step 2: Enter your connection credentials
Under the 'Connection' section, complete the following fields:
Store Name: A display name for this integration within Unleashed. Recommended for clarity.
Store Hash (required): The unique identifier for your BigCommerce store, found in your store URL or API settings.
Access Token: Your BigCommerce API access token. Leave blank to keep the existing value when updating other settings.
Client Secret: Your BigCommerce API client secret, used to verify webhook signatures. Leave blank to keep the existing value.
Step 3: Configure sync settings
Under the Sync Settings section, complete the following fields:
Warehouse Code: The Unleashed warehouse that stock levels are sourced from for BigCommerce. Leave blank for aggregated stock across all warehouses.
Order Warehouse Code: The Unleashed warehouse that imported orders are assigned to.
Guest Account Code: The Unleashed customer code used for orders placed by guest shoppers. This customer must already exist in Unleashed before you activate the integration.
Customer Type: The customer type applied to customers from BigCommerce orders that do not already have a customer type set in Unleashed. This includes both newly created customers and existing customers matched by email. Customers who already have a type in Unleashed are not modified.
Order Complete Status: The Unleashed order status assigned to imported BigCommerce orders. Defaults to Parked. Choose from Parked, Placed, or Completed.
Sync Stock: Toggle on to push Unleashed stock levels to BigCommerce on a scheduled basis; inactive by default.
Step 4: Save and activate
Click Save Changes to save your configuration.
By default, the integration is set to 'Inactive'. To begin syncing, toggle the status switch in the top-right corner of the page to activate it.
⚠️Important: The integration does not sync orders, stock, or products until it is active. Confirm all settings are correct before activating. An initial product sync runs automatically when the integration is first connected or saved, provided the integration is active.
Manage the integration
Monitor activity
The 'Activity' tab shows a log of all sync events, including order imports, stock updates, and initial product mapping. Each entry displays a Timestamp, message Type (such as Info), a Message describing the event, and an Entity reference where applicable.
Use the 'All types' filter and the 'Search messages' field to find specific events or troubleshoot issues.
🤓 Tip: If you see repeated entries showing "No stock changes to export," this means the integration is active and polling correctly; there are simply no stock movements to push to BigCommerce at that interval.
Recover missing orders
If an order placed in BigCommerce does not appear in Unleashed, use the 'Data Management' tab to search for it and trigger a manual import.
Select the Data Management tab.
Under 'Missing Orders', enter a From and To date range covering the period the order was placed.
Click Search. The integration displays a list of orders found in BigCommerce but not yet imported into Unleashed, up to a maximum of 50 results.
Select the orders you want to import from the list.
Click Import. Each selected order is imported individually through the standard order import process and will appear in Unleashed with the status configured in 'Order Complete Status'.
⚠️Important: The Missing Orders search is limited to a date range of no more than one month. The start date cannot be more than one month in the past. A maximum of 50 results is returned per search.
If an order cannot be imported due to an invalid guest account code or another customer resolution error, no error is surfaced to the end customer. Check the Activity tab for logged import errors if orders appear to be missing.
How BigCommerce syncs with Unleashed
The Integration Hub syncs data in both directions: from BigCommerce to Unleashed and from Unleashed to BigCommerce.
Inbound: BigCommerce to Unleashed
Orders placed in BigCommerce are pushed to Unleashed in near real time via webhook and imported with the status configured in the 'Order Complete Status' field, for example, Parked, and are assigned to the warehouse specified in the Order Warehouse Code field.
The integration only imports BigCommerce orders with a status of Awaiting Fulfilment or Completed. Orders in other statuses, such as Pending, Cancelled, or Refunded, are skipped, and an error is logged in the Activity tab. If an order later transitions to an eligible status, the order is imported at that point.
New customers from BigCommerce are created in Unleashed using the configured Customer Type. Guest orders are mapped to the 'Guest Account Code'.
When the integration is first connected, an initial product sync reads all available products from your BigCommerce catalogue and maps them to Unleashed products by SKU. Variants without a SKU or with purchasing disabled are skipped. If a matching product does not exist in Unleashed, it is created automatically. This sync runs once and does not repeat after completion.
Outbound: Unleashed to BigCommerce
When 'Sync Stock' is enabled, Unleashed pushes available stock levels to BigCommerce on a scheduled basis. Stock is sourced from the warehouse specified in the Warehouse Code field. If left blank (the default), aggregated stock across all warehouses is pushed.
🤓 Tip: If you fulfil from multiple warehouses and want the combined total reflected in your BigCommerce store, leave the Warehouse Code field blank.
