What is serialisation?

Serialisation records every individual unit of a product by its own serial number, from the moment it arrives to the moment it leaves. The Warehouse Management app captures and confirms serial numbers on the warehouse floor, and Warehouse Management in Access Evo shows you the same information on the web.

📌 Note: A product is serialised when it's set as serialized in Unleashed. Serialization and batch tracking are mutually exclusive, so a product uses one or the other, never both.

What serialization changes across the app

Where a product is serialized, the app asks for serial numbers instead of a quantity.

📌 Note: Locations use your warehouse naming structure, for example, MH-Z1-A1-B1-S1-L1.

🤓 Tip: Wherever you enter serial numbers in the Warehouse Management app, you can scan them or type them, and separate multiple serial numbers with commas.
