Supported mobile platforms

The Warehouse Management app is available on the following mobile platforms:

Recommended device specifications

The Warehouse Management app is designed for use on mobile devices in warehouse environments. The following specifications and minimum requirements are recommended for reliable performance:

  • RAM: Minimum 512 MB required.

  • Screen resolution: Minimum 280 px required.

  • Camera

  • CPU architecture: minimum armeabi-v7a, arm64-v8a, x86, or x86_64 required.

📌Note: Tablets are supported, but the Warehouse Management app is primarily designed for phone-sized screens.

Rugged Android devices, such as Zebra or Honeywell, are neither explicitly supported nor blocked. There are no certified models. If you plan to use Rugged Android devices, test and validate their compatibility before deployment.

Supported barcode scanners

The Warehouse Management app supports barcode scanning using the device’s built-in camera on both iOS and Android.

The following barcode formats are supported:

• Code 128

• Code 39

• Code 93

• Codabar

• EAN-13

• EAN-8

• ITF-14

• UPC-E

• UPC-A

• QR codes

• PDF417

• Aztec

• Data Matrix

External scanners: Support for external scanners (Bluetooth, USB, and integrated rugged device scanners) has not been verified for the Warehouse Management app. Only the device’s built-in camera has been confirmed for barcode scanning.

Wi-Fi and network requirements

The Warehouse Management app requires an active internet connection to sync data with Unleashed. For reliable performance across your warehouse, we recommend the following:

• A stable Wi-Fi network with good coverage across all picking, packing, and receiving areas.

• The app uses standard HTTPS networking and works over any network connection — including Wi-Fi and mobile data — that provides internet access. Wi-Fi frequency band support (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz) is determined by your device hardware and operating system, not the app.

If a request exceeds the connection timeout, the app displays the message: 'Request timed out due to slow connection. Please check your internet connection and try again.

Offline behaviour

The Warehouse Management app does not support full offline operation. An active internet connection is required for all warehouse operations. The app has limited offline capability through read-only caching only.

The following is available without an active connection:

  • Previously fetched product and barcode data can be viewed from cache for up to 48 hours.

  • Barcode scanning using the device camera continues to work offline, as it uses on-device processing.

  • The app detects connectivity status and displays appropriate messages, including 'Your device is offline.' when the connection drops and 'Back online.' when it is restored.

The following is not available without an active connection:

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching.

  • Goods receiving.

  • Stock adjustments and bin transfers.

  • Logging in or refreshing your session.

  • Stock sync with Unleashed.

Important: There is no offline transaction queue. Any operations attempted while offline will not be queued or synced when connectivity is restored. Ensure your warehouse has reliable Wi-Fi coverage before deploying the app.
