Device limits in the Warehouse Management app

Steps to understand and manage active device slots in Access Evo Warehouse Management.

The Warehouse Management app uses device slots to control how many devices can be logged in at the same time. You can check, manage, and increase your device slots directly in Access Evo.

Important: The Warehouse Management module and app are Access products, available exclusively to Access Evo customers with an Unleashed Core or Pro subscription.


How device limits work

Your Warehouse Management subscription includes a set number of active device slots. Each device that logs in to the Warehouse Management app uses one slot. Once all slots are in use, additional devices cannot log in until a slot is freed up.

You can check how many devices are connected and how many slots remain in Device Management in Access Evo.

View active devices

Device Management in Access Evo shows all connected devices, their last sync time, and their current status.

When the limit is reached

If a user tries to log in on a device that would exceed your limit, they'll see a 'Device Limit Reached' message in the app and cannot proceed.


Increase your device limit

If you need more active devices than your current plan allows, you can purchase additional individual device slots or a device pack of five.

To add more slots to your plan, you can either:


Free up a device slot

You can remove a device from your account to free up a slot immediately.

  1. In Access Evo's Warehouse Management tab, select your organisation name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Device Management.

  3. Find the device you want to remove, then click the delete icon.

The slot becomes available straight away, and another device can log in.

šŸ“Œ Note: Removing a device from Device Management only frees up the slot. It does not affect any picks, receipts, or other activity recorded on that device.

Warning: Removing a device from your account will not automatically reduce your subscription's device limit. Your Account Owner can submit a request to reduce device limits via Settings > Billing.
